1.30 Setting up
2.32 Scheduling a post

Hey, guys. It’s Hayley from Small Business Performance Coaching.

Today, we’re going to quickly run through how to schedule posts on Instagram. I know there are a lot of programs out there at the moment for Twitter and Facebook and everything to schedule your posts to help with your time management and everything, but there doesn’t really seem to be an official program for Instagram.

But there is Latergramme, which is really awesome, and it’s definitely going to save you a lot of time. I’m going to show you how to use it, and you should definitely start using this in your business straightaway to save yourself some time, as you do with all your other social media platforms.

If you go to, you’ll come to this page here. It’s really easy. It’s free. You literally just login with your Instagram account. I’ve already signed up for this. Just login with your Instagram – whether that be your personal or I’m assuming it’s your business page.

When you set up your account, you will actually have to download the app, as well, to your phone, either Android or Apple. If you don’t use the app, then you can’t use it on your desktop because, basically, how it works is you can schedule them here on your desktop and then it actually pushes it to the app in your phone, which then posts to Instagram. As we know, Instagram doesn’t let you actually upload from desktops, so this desktop here for Latergramme is pushing to the app on your phone.

When you sign up for the first time, you get sent a link to your e-mail address to download the app, or you just go into your app store and download Latergramme. Just make sure you link the same accounts with each other, and then you’ll be all good to go.

When you sign in then, once you’ve done all of that, you’ll get your dashboard here. It’s really easy. Like anything else that we’ve shown you how to use in the past, it really does make your life a lot easier, and it stops you from having to put a reminder in your calendar like “Post Monday motivation post on Instagram” or “Work out Wednesday.” Whatever it is that you’re doing, it just makes that a lot easier.

It’s so easy. You just go to “Add New Media” here on the right. You can either take it from your Dropbox or from your computer. Here are some quotes. This one is kind of funny. Obviously, you get it here. You post as you do with Instagram. You can edit, crop, resize – whatever you want to do.

Then, obviously, you post your caption: “Happy Monday, everyone,” or let’s use something like “Those Monday morning struggles.” Then you put in your hashtag. I’m going to put “#mondaymotivation, #thestruggleisreal” – whatever you want to do.

Then it’s super easy. You just go down here to “Schedule Post.” You just schedule your post for whatever time and date, as you do in everything else that you use. Let’s just say 8:00 a.m., “Save.” You can see here that it’s saving the post.

Again, you can do this directly from the app if you prefer. If you keep all your media and everything on your phone as opposed to your computer and you want to upload straight from your app, then that’s totally fine. You can do that. You don’t have to use your desktop. I just personally prefer to use desktop for everything.

Once you’ve put it in, you can see here that it has the post scheduled to go out at 8:00 a.m., or you can also see it over here in “Scheduled.” If you’ve loaded a whole heap of media, then it’s all going to be here in “Unscheduled.” Then, obviously, once it has been posted, it will appear there in the “Posted.” It’s so easy.

It’s probably worth noting that this is just a basic account, so you can only make 30 posts or something for 12 months for a basic account, or you can upgrade to premium and, obviously, that gives you unlimited posts.

If you’re using Instagram a lot and you’re forgetting to post all the time or you have to have daily reminders in your calendar to post on Instagram, then it is definitely worth getting Latergramme because, like your Twitter and your Facebook, if you an order or schedule everything for a week, two weeks, even a month in advance if your that organized, you’ll save so much time and really increase your productivity to do on other tasks.

It might seem really easy; that only took you all of two minutes to do. But when you’re doing that every day, you forget what you’re posting or you backtrack or whatever, it ends up sometimes that a single post can take 20 minutes, and then by the time you refocus or whatever, it ends up being a huge 45-minute waste of time that you could have been doing when you could have just done this.

Head to Sign up. Download the app. Get it happening, and start saving some time with your Instagram posts.

Thanks, guys.
